What is the first thing a president with no foreign policy experience does right out of the shoot? He has the Russians rolling on the floor laughing their collective asses off at his childish naiveté.
In the same week that U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Geneva, the New York Times publishes a story about Barry Soetoro sending a “I like you. Do you like me? Check yes, no, maybe.” letter to Russian President Dmitri A. Medvedev.
President Obama sent a secret letter to Russia’s president last month suggesting that he would back off deploying a new missile defense system in Eastern Europe if Moscow would help stop Iran from developing long-range weapons, American officials said Monday.
The letter to President Dmitri A. Medvedev was hand-delivered in Moscow by top administration officials three weeks ago. It said the United States would not need to proceed with the interceptor system, which has been vehemently opposed by Russia since it was proposed by the Bush administration, if Iran halted any efforts to build nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles.
Needless to say, two of America’s strongest and most committed allies, Poland and the Czech Republic are horrified, as the missile defense shield is to protect them from Iran’s nuclear threat.
To recap, in the space of a few days, Barry Soetoro has managed to bitch slap his Secretary of State, make the U.S. a laughing stock in Russia and insult some of America’s greatest allies. Change we can believe in….
